Our favorite artists, Cameron Hammond and Brydie Mack to name two, have a common medium: film photography. In today’s digital and social media infused world, film photography has become something extremely special – an art. Taking the time to take the shot and develop the film, allows the image to stand as a singular, important moment in time. From an aesthetic standpoint, film photography has the unique quality that yields the viewer to feel as if they were really there. There’s grain and imperfections to the shot, whereas digital can, at times, look picture perfect. Depth of field is better captured, and as well as the sharpness and the colors. Cameron and his wife Rachel work together as a serious power couple. Rachel not only shoots with Cameron but produces and even does hair and makeup. What a team!

Brydie Mack of Wolf Cub Wolf Cub is the coolest girl in the film gang. She not only has an eye for swim but has the incredible ability to shoot a woman’s body in the best possible way. Her European style makes us want to take the first flight out to the Amalfi coast.

The queen of the candid, Akila Berjaoui makes our jaws drop with her incredible beach shots. No body captures a day sun baking at the beach better than her.
