MIAMI SWIM WEEK AND A SLICE OF PARADISE POP UP

The biggest annual event in the swimwear industry has once again come and gone – but not without leaving us with some serious suit obsessions and Miami memories.

This years MSW was something special.
Both the shows and the collections seemed to have an added element of excitement to them, and we were blown away by some really beautiful designs, prints, and fabrics.

Day 1

Our first show of the week was Lolli Swim.
It was a fun and flirty intro to their latest collection, and an amazing show all round! Featuring a soft palette of pastel and nude lace, satin and chiffon.

Next up was Beach Bunny.

Staying true to their style, Beach Bunny showcased a collection of black statement pieces and soft, sexy neutral tones complete with wings and a liquid nitrogen Runway – the gorgeous models resembling angels floating on clouds. It was such an amazing production, and a beautiful show with stunning pieces.

Day 2 of the shows meant Day 1 of something else super special for us –
our A Bikini A Day, Slice of Paradise Pop Up!

It was held at The Miami Beach Edition, and we had some of our fave brands along for the ride; Caudalie, St Tropez Tan, ByChari, and of course our very own Monday Swimwear and Monday Active.

We had such an amazing turn out to the event, and were able to personally style everyone who came. It was so exciting to see all the beautiful girls rocking Monday Swimwear and Monday Active!

The Acacia Swimwear show was a force to be reckoned with.

Exhibiting the distinctive characteristics that only Acacia can conceptualize, the show was held in an open air high-rise parking complex. The concrete backdrop and industrial vibe was a dramatic change from the standard runways, making it an event to remember.
The new collection was made up of eclectic tiger prints, highlighter green injections, and an RTW range for all ages. We loved every second of this one!

The Luli Fama show was as vivacious and vibrant as ever, showing off the cuban vibe of their latest collections.

Ever entertaining, the show started off with a performance from a Trumpet player, drummer and dancers – which set us up for an extensive show of multiple collections and elaborate designs.

Luli Fama, you never cease to amaze us!

Cheers to an amaaaazing Swim Week – and here’s to another in 2018!

Can’t wait ????
