We kicked off the Runway Show weekend with a brunch celebration at the Paraiso Bungalow. Collaborating with Australian skincare brand, Dr Roebucks and JNSQ Wines, the Monday Swimwear x Dr Roebucks brunch brought together top influencers, models, editors and friends for a beautiful morning with some powerful babes. We sipped on rosé, ate some delicious food and enjoyed the beautiful setting that Paraiso created for our stunning brunch.
After the brunch the Monday Swimwear team and our squad of gorgeous models headed straight to the runway tent for rehearsal and to start hair and makeup for the show!
The Monday Swimwear 2019 Runway Show was presented for the second year in a row at Parasio Miami Beach! This collection was deeply personal to us and was inspired by the women closest to us, the women we admire everyday. Women who are captivating, complex, elegant, bold and completely their own.
This collection started with with wanting to tell their stories. Before we even knew what the suits would look like, we knew the women they would represent. Every collection we create is a representation of the women who inspire us. With every piece, our aim is to find the balance between dreamy and sensible. Pieces that capture the happiness and lightness felt after a beach day.
For this show we wanted to bring our audience an immersive exploration of the unique feeling that comes from being inspired by the women around you. We hope that our followers and audience shared in our vision and felt the allure of inspiration after watching our show.
After the show we held our after party at our favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Miami, Byblos! If you follow us you’ll know that we can’t come to Miami without going to Byblos and have been going there for years!! We celebrated over delicious food and wine with our incredible Monday Swimwear team and friends!
