After building a successful career in the beauty blogging industry, Marianna launched her very own skincare line, Summer Fridays. We have tried the “Jet Lag Mask” ourselves, and we highly recommend for anyone looking for renewed, radiant skin.
Marianna has been and continues to be an inspiration for us as a Girl Boss. We caught up with her on her latest ventures and got the scoop on her personal routines so that you too can find inspiration in her story!
We have always admired your beautiful aesthetic, attention to detail and boss woman business mentality. You do everything from beauty and fashion to travel and Youtube, all while running your blog and now launching your very own skincare line, Summer Fridays (CONRGATS)! How do you juggle the various facets of your business?
Thank you so much! I am passionate about all areas of my career, so although it isn’t always easy – it is enjoyable for me to balance it all. The day to day of running my blog is very different from Summer Fridays but I love how they both allow me to be creative and use the left and right sides of my brain.
You also run a blogging tips account called Blog With Me– which is so awesome! What advice would you give to a young woman wanting to start a blog?
Just do it! I never thought starting a blog would get me to where I am today and was one of the best decisions I ever made. If I would have let fear hold me back, I wouldn’t have the life and career I do now. So just start, you never know where it may take you.
What products would you use for a quick glowy beach makeup look?
I love Dr Dennis Gross facial tanning pads, they give my skin an amazing glow even if I haven’t seen the sun. Armani Beauty’s face fabric foundation is sheer and gives me that no makeup makeup look. To glow, I use Becca Cosmetics highlighter in rose gold and apply it to my cheeks, nose and eyes.
How do you beat jet lag?
I always try to get myself on the timezone Im traveling to as soon as I get on the plane. I calculate the times and never nap after I arrive. I get right on schedule and hit the ground running. My skin always would end up looking tired, so Summer Fridays jet lag mask was created for those days. When my skin looked dry from the airplane or exhausted from lack of sleep, we created this mask to wake up your skin so I don’t look as tired as I feel.

Your skin is flawless! What do you use for your skincare routine?
My morning routine is simple, iS clinical cleansing complex and an oil free SPF. For night, I always cleanse, use treatments for whatever my skin needs that day and moisturize and never forget my neck. I use the same cleanser for morning and night the follow with Shani Darden’s Retinol Reform followed by Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask that can be worn overnight.
What beauty product could you absolutely not live without?
A beauty blender!

Coco, its so cute! And I love the message.
How do you unwind/what does your ideal down time look like?
Laying on the couch with my dog catching up on tv. I rarely get to watch my shows when Im traveling so its so nice to relax and do nothing.
Last year WWD awarded you with “Influencer Of The Year” and you announced the release of your new brand Summer Fridays. What’s next for you?
This year I’m really focusing on growing the Summer Fridays brand. We’re launching our first product and working on our second release. And continuing to share my life through my social, blog and Youtube channel.
