We got to spend a special few moments with the design team behind the brand, who shared with us their inspiration behind the latest collection, and gave us an inside scoop on what we can expect to see from them in the not too distant future. Check it out!
When did SUNSEEKER launch and what was the inspiration behind the brand?
SUNSEEKER launched in 1979 in Perth, Western Australia. The focus behind the SUNSEEKER brand has always been based around fit and making women feel confident in their swimwear.
What type of woman embodies the spirit of SUNSEEKER?
The SUNSEEKER woman is all about looking her best on the beach, being comfortable and most of all feeling confident at the same time.
What would you say is the most important thing for a woman to remember when shopping for a bikini?
The most important thing is to buy swimwear that makes you feel great and fits you well. Don’t be scared to ask for help in the fitting room, it’s always great to get some feedback on the best styles for your body shape from a trained fit specialist.
SUNSEEKER is showcasing some pretty spectacular prints for the latest collection. Where did you guys draw your inspiration from for this season?
The 2016 summer collection was inspired by vintage nautical swim with touches of retro boho. This season is all about luscious prints and textures combined with classic silhouettes to create the perfect swim and clothing pieces for summer.
What is your biggest motivation as a brand?
The SUNSEEKER team is 100% motivated to making women feel amazing in there swimwear. We aim to empower women and give them the confidence they need to feel fantastic.
