Some people just have it all: a great career, good health, a good relationship and a dream beach home to boot! The truth is that we never know whether someone really has it all, it’s all a matter of perception, but it doesn’t hurt to take a peek at how some of the population, namely celebrities, live and imagine for a second what it would be like to live in such a home. Something to keep us working hard and dreaming, if anything. Most celebrities try to give us little droplets of their private life, enough to keep us interested, but nothing that jeopardizes their privacy completely. As such, finding out details about their homes was not an easy feat. We did our best to come across as much information as possible for your enjoyment.
Matt Damon’s Miami beach home features seven bedrooms and it’s right in the center of Miami Beach. It sits on 170 feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay. It’s got lush landscaping, garden enclaves and bubbling fountains. It also has its very own theater, wine cellar, a guesthouse, a pool house with a full summer kitchen and of course a dock. It’s for sale and is worth about $20 million.
Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann’s beach house/bungalo is located in Malibu, California, and is worth $10.95 million. It’s about 2,550 square-feet, built in the 1930s and features three ensuite bathrooms, a sunroom and a separate guesthouse. One of its incredibly beautiful features is a glass wall in the master suite, overlooking the ocean.
Rihannah’s beach house in Barbados, sits an arms-reach away from white sandy beach and crystal clear water. Seriously, what more could you possibly ask for? It has five bedrooms, and it’s 6,500 square feet, and it is worth about $12 million. She seems to prefer neutral colors in her home, giving it a very crisp, fresh feel. We chose to show you her bathroom, because who wouldn’t want to see this view while brushing their teeth or sitting in their tub? Picture perfect.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s Malibu beach house is in the Malibu colony where a few other celebrities like to hide. His property actually includes three separate buildings, all combined, he has 7 bedrooms and 6 baths. He has an indoor outdoor living room with a stunning ocean view, and his bedroom is just a huge big wow factor. The views from his rooftop and patio area are stunning to say the least.
Breaking Bad’s, Bryan Cranston has made a lot of money dealing drugs, so it’s no surprise to find that he has a very cute water-front home in LA. His home it totally green with a two-story car garage with an auto lift. The color scheme around the house is grey and red, and the view from the master bedroom is absolutely priceless.
Jim Carry’s luxurious Malibu beach home is also located in the prestigious Malibu Colony and includes a beautiful outdoor area with ample space for lounging around or dining while enjoying the fresh ocean breeze. It includes a corner rooftop spa tub, and incredible panoramic surf views that would make you wonder why anyone would ever want to leave their home.
Bruce Willis owns a beach home in the exclusive private island of Parrot Cay in the Caribbean, but he also is willing to share it with you for a mere $12,830 per week. How’s that for a deal? The home features five white and teak bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, it’s over 1,500 square feet—larger than your typical hotel room—and it also has two, three bedroom guest villas right next to the main house. Each of the villas has its own infinity pool, a holistic spa, and healthy cuisine— true celebrity quality luxury!
Pharrell William’s Miami beach penthouse offers breathtaking views of the Biscayne Bay. It’s also for sale for over $10 million. It’s 9000 square feet with 5 bedrooms, seven baths, a rooftop pool and deck with 360-degree views of the Atlantic Ocean and Miami skyline. Apparently, music is not his only interest in life because he’s somewhat of an art enthusiast who spends a lot of his money on big, bold, modern art pieces. The property has many flashy finishes like Italian travertine floors and a Snaidero kitchen.
Ralph Lauren’s beach home in Jamaica’s Montego Bay embodies a nautical theme, he loves the idea of feeling as though he were inside a very comfortable yacht! He and his family members like to relax in this home that features soft, calming colors: it’s where he lies in his hammock for hours. He’s owned the home for over 20 years now. It is surrounded by a verdant garden with tall palms bending over the pool area for a total tropical feel. The spacious veranda area is where they like to have their meals and where they feel totally far away from everything.
Oprah’s beach house, or rather houses, are spread across the globe, but we chose to concentrate on her Caribbean beach spread in Antigua. Don’t worry, she can’t feel too lonely there, with neighbors such as Richard Branson and Eric Clapton. The beauty of owning a home in Antigua is that you can enjoy the pristine white beaches and clear blue water, but also the interesting history of the island. It’s practically impossible to get the details of the home inside but we’ve seen enough of Oprah’s other homes to know that she has very classical taste, nothing modern, very cozy and it’s enough to see from the views what she is privy to when she’s on her property.
