Tropical Breakfast Boat

There are plenty of options for wholesome breakfast foods in healthy food stores such as Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods, but sometimes it’s so much more fun to create your own combinations of food and come up with something that you will not find anywhere else but your own kitchen.  We’re always looking for new and inventive ways to come up with healthy breakfast foods, the most important meal of the day. A healthy breakfast will help boost your metabolism,  and this boost actually helps avoid weight gain as well; people who eat a nutritious breakfast regularly are more likely to incorporate the recommended helpings of vitamins and minerals to their diet and tend not to overeat later on during the day. When you’re planning to spend part of your day at the beach there’s nothing better than filling your body with wonderful nutrients that will give you the energy, better concentration and an overall good mood.

We call this creation the Tropical Breakfast Boat and all you’ll need is:

1 ripe papaya half, seeds scooped and disposed in the garbage and not the garbage disposal. The papaya half is then filled with a large scoop of plain Greek yogurt, raw oats, coconut flakes, goji berries, cacao nibs, mulberries, cinnamon, and chia seeds. You may also squeeze some lime on top.
