Beaching it everyday is amazing but sun, salt and sand can wear on your precious skin. A great way to keep your skin young and glowing is through exfoliation. Facial and body exfoliation clears away old skin cells to help create smooth skin, minimize ingrown hairs and prevent blemishes. Start including exfoliaiton into your beauty regime or if you already have, take a look at this guide for the perfect exfoliation routine!
How many times a week?
Facial exfoliation can be part of your daily routine. Your facial skin is very sensitive so go easy with a gentle exfoliator. Our favorite is Umbrian Clay Mattifying Face Exfoliant by Fresh with the assistance of The Body Shop Facial Buffer.
Body Exfoliation should be done 2-3 times a week. We find that in the winter 2 times a week is sufficient and 3 times a week in summer. We like to switch it up with two different types of body exfoliates, one more gentle than the other. For a gentle body scrub try Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash and to get a thorough scrub try TheBody Shop Coconut Body Scrub (Smells amazing!). We also have tried using Exfoliating Soap bar’s and they are great too!
